The Role
- Partner with the CEO and Board to define and execute a multi-year growth and diversification strategy.
- Lead strategic planning, M&A evaluation, and capital allocation decisions.
- Build a best-in-class internal Strategy function, recruiting top-tier talent from consulting and industry.
- Oversee digital transformation, customer analytics, and data-driven business model evolution.
- Translate corporate ambition into operational plans, performance metrics, and tangible commercial outcomes.
- Act as a thought partner to the Executive Committee and key external stakeholders including regulators, investors, and strategic partners.
The Person
- Exceptional strategic and analytical credentials - ideally with a background in top-tier consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Oliver Wyman, or similar) combined with senior in-house leadership experience.
- Proven experience shaping and delivering strategy in large-scale or fast-growing financial institutions (banking, asset management, payments, or fintech).
- Demonstrable record of influencing boards, driving transformation, and executing M&A or new-market entry.
- Deep commercial acumen, intellectual agility, and the ability to lead with clarity in complex regulatory environments.
- Inspirational leadership style with a collaborative, data-driven approach.
