Overview
A global investment firm with a multi-billion portfolio is seeking a senior technical leader to guide ERP strategy and delivery across complex, multinational businesses. This role sits within the value creation team and focuses on driving transformation, improving operating performance, and accelerating EBITDA gains through modern enterprise platforms.
Core Focus
- Shape ERP strategy across the portfolio, covering SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Oracle Fusion
- Lead diagnostic reviews at the point of acquisition to assess platform health, risks, and investment needs
- Build pragmatic roadmaps for transformation, carve outs, integrations, and rapid value capture
- Oversee or support programme directors in delivering high-stakes ERP programmes
- Pressure test vendor proposals, system integrator plans, and technology budgets
- Advise management teams and boards on sequencing, capability build, timelines, and risk
- Ensure each ERP programme is tied tightly to financial outcomes and measurable operational lifts
- Champion best practice across data, security, architecture, cloud integration, and change management
Ideal Profile
- Deep leadership experience in ERP transformation across global enterprises
- Strong track record in SAP S/4HANA, Dynamics 365, or Oracle Fusion, ideally spanning multiple platforms
- Experience in carve outs, integrations, rapid stand ups, and complex multi-country deployments
- Background working with private equity firms or PE-backed environments
- Skilled at advising CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, and transformation leaders
- Able to translate technical complexity into commercial language for investment teams
- Comfortable moving between board-level strategy and hands-on programme delivery oversight

Package
- £425,000 base salary
- Bonus in the range of 50% to 100%
