Overview
A leading global private equity firm is seeking a senior procurement specialist to join its value creation team. This role drives enterprise wide cost optimisation, supplier strategy, and strategic sourcing across a portfolio of complex, multinational businesses. The focus is on unlocking EBITDA expansion through disciplined procurement, stronger commercial negotiation, and smarter category management.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute procurement strategies that deliver sustainable cost reductions and margin improvement
- Guide portfolio companies through spend diagnostics, maturity assessments, and opportunity sizing
- Lead high impact sourcing programmes covering direct, indirect, and SG&A categories
- Partner with management teams to redesign procurement operating models, governance, and capability build
- Support diligence by assessing procurement performance, value creation potential, and synergy opportunities
- Pressure test supplier contracts, vendor relationships, and commercial terms
- Drive harmonisation and consolidation of suppliers across global or multi brand portfolios
- Coach and mentor CPOs, procurement directors, and sourcing teams within the portfolio
- Track value realisation and ensure initiatives tie directly to financial outcomes
- Partner with deal teams during acquisition and exit planning to position value creation stories
Ideal Profile
- Deep experience leading procurement transformations across large global enterprises
- Strong background in category strategy, supplier negotiations, and cost reduction programmes
- Proven track record in indirects, directs, manufacturing, logistics, or technology procurement
- Experience in private equity or PE backed turnaround environments
- Skilled at influencing CEOs, CFOs, and operating leaders
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to build clear business cases and ROI models
- Adept at combining strategy with implementation, moving between boardroom and operational detail
- Confident working across multiple industries with varied complexity

Compensation
- Base salary of $500,000
- Annual bonus at 100 to 125% base
- Participation in carried interest programme
- Additional benefits available at the fund level
