We are seeking a strategically minded and results-driven Go-To-Market (GTM) Operating Partner to join our Private Equity Mega Fund Client. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in market strategy, business development, and operational execution within the private equity landscape. This individual will work closely with the portfolio companies to enhance their revenue generation capabilities, accelerate growth, and maximize value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- GTM Strategy Development: Collaborate with portfolio company leadership to develop and refine effective go-to-market strategies tailored to each business's specific goals and market dynamics.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs, helping portfolio companies align their offerings effectively.
- Sales Optimization: Assess and enhance sales processes, methodologies, and performance metrics to drive revenue growth and improve customer acquisition and retention.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, finance) and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of the GTM strategy.
- Coaching and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to portfolio company leadership teams on best practices for executing GTM strategies and scaling operations.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact of GTM initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure targets are met.
- Investment Evaluation: Participate in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions by assessing market opportunities and operational performance of target companies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in GTM strategy, business development, or operational roles within private equity, consulting, or technology sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change in a fast-paced environment.
