A leading global private equity house is embarking on a high-profile FMCG carve-out and requires a seasoned IT carve-out leader to deliver a mission-critical separation. This is a confidential engagement with direct reporting to the deal team and C-suite, operating at the heart of a significant portfolio transformation.
The mandate:
You will own the end-to-end IT separation workstream, shaping and executing a complex programme that spans multiple territories and business units. The objective is to deliver a clean, timely separation while preserving operational stability and positioning the business for accelerated growth post-transition.
You will:
- Architect and lead the IT carve-out plan from Day 1 readiness to TSA exit
- Oversee infrastructure, application, ERP, and data migration programmes
- Engage directly with PE deal leadership, portfolio CxOs, and specialist vendors
- Manage high-stakes timelines and interdependencies across functions and geographies
- Safeguard operational continuity while delivering transformation at pace
The ideal profile:
- Extensive IT carve-out / separation leadership within complex, consumer-facing environments, ideally FMCG
- A strong track record operating inside private equity-backed transactions at speed
- Depth across ERP, infrastructure, TSA structuring, and multi-country delivery
- Gravitas to operate in board-level forums, with the precision and control expected by top-tier sponsors
- Unflappable under pressure, with the ability to mobilise and deliver results at pace
Engagement details:
- £1,800 per day (Outside IR35)
- UK-based with some on-site requirements
