An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Procurement Advisor to join a leading Private Equity firm based in Dubai.
This 18-month contract offers the chance to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, contributing to high-impact projects across the MENA region.
As the Procurement Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the procurement strategy for the firm’s portfolio companies, driving cost efficiency, and ensuring best practices are implemented across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to deliver cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies to standardize procurement processes and implement best-in-class practices.
- Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management to secure optimal terms and quality service.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of procurement performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance policies.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, acting as a trusted advisor.
About You:
- Proven track record in procurement advisory roles, preferably within the private equity or consulting sectors.
- Extensive experience in strategic procurement across multiple categories (e.g., IT, professional services, logistics).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with procurement tools and systems, with the ability to implement and optimize them.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across culturally diverse teams.
- Previous experience in the MENA region and/or Dubai is highly desirable.
