A recently acquired, mid-market consumer goods business is seeking an Interim CIO to lead its technology transformation and integration journey following private equity investment.
This is a pivotal role focused on establishing a scalable digital foundation and enabling future growth across multiple European markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and deliver the post-acquisition IT roadmap, aligning technology with the value creation plan.
- Oversee integration of core systems, infrastructure, and data across group entities.
- Assess and optimise current ERP, CRM, and data platforms to ensure scalability and performance.
- Build and lead a small, high-performing IT function capable of supporting rapid operational change.
- Manage relationships with vendors, MSPs, and key business stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
- Provide strategic insight to the CEO and PE sponsor on technology investments, cybersecurity, and digital capability.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as CIO, IT Director, or Programme Leader within consumer goods, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors.
- Track record of leading IT transformations in a private equity or post-acquisition context.
- Strong understanding of ERP (SAP, D365, or equivalent), infrastructure modernisation, and data integration.
- Pragmatic, hands-on leader capable of balancing strategic direction with delivery.
- Fluent in English; Dutch or other European languages an advantage.
- This assignment will suit an interim technology leader experienced in driving transformation at pace within fast-evolving, PE-backed environments.
