Our Private Equity Mega Fund client is seeking an experienced Digital Operating Partner to lead digital transformation initiatives across their portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital strategies, technology implementation, and operational excellence. This role is crucial in driving value creation through the adoption of innovative digital solutions, enhancing operational performance, and improving customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Strategy Development: Collaborate with portfolio company leadership to define and execute comprehensive digital strategies that align with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Technology Implementation: Oversee the assessment, selection, and adoption of digital technologies, including e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, data analytics tools, and other digital solutions that drive efficiency and enhance customer experience.
  • Digital Transformation Leadership: Lead the digital transformation initiatives by guiding portfolio companies through the process of cultural and operational change necessary for effective digital adoption.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Identify trends in digital technology and e-commerce to advise portfolio companies on innovative practices and competitive advantages.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of digital initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments (e.g., IT, marketing, sales) to ensure that digital strategies are integrated and executed effectively across the organization.
  • Coaching and Development: Mentor portfolio company teams on digital best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Investment Evaluation: Contribute to the due diligence and integration processes for potential digital investments by analyzing market viability and operational capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 20+ years of experience in digital strategy, technology consulting, or operational roles, with a focus on driving digital initiatives within private equity or high-growth environments.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights that drive strategy and decision-making.
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
