Reporting to the Group CFO, this project will encompass significant swathes of the business in what is an extremely challenging period. The view of the board is one of forward-motion and future planning , with the belief that the impending challenges mean the proposed Global Transformation Programme is required now more than ever and should commence without further delay. The business has a strong balance sheet, a hitherto largely unaffected order book and an unwavering commitment from the board to begin the Transformation Programme across the business as an absolute priority.
The Transformation Programme to be undertaken will consist of several elements. The keystone of this is the deployment of the new target operating model and it is fundamental that the processes align with this. The Global Head of Business Transformation will also be tasked with establishing and leading the global business services organisation, which will encompass HR, enterprise risk, procurement, global supply chain, finance and payroll. Furthermore, this role will have oversight for the operations of several shared services centres in multi-country locations. The Global Head of Business Transformation will be a highly visible senior leadership position, working with our consulting partners and the executive project steering committee; as such the successful candidate must have previous credible experience of having lead a multi-country transformation project successfully.
